Asset disposition

Is it a requirement to dispose of a depreciating asset on turbo tax that has died? It is of no benefit to me to do it this year, and if i can do so in a future year, I would prefer it.

The asset was scrapped and you received nothing?

If that's the case, then you have nothing to report with respect to that asset.
