An IRA distribution in January while a resident in CT. Deposited in CT bank. Moved to VT. 1099-R form has VT in Box 13. Box 14 blank. Is money part of CT income or VT?

If you are now a resident of VT, and have no other CT income to report, then report it as income on your VT return. No need to file a CT return at all in that case.
If you do have other income to report in each state. you can also allocate it partly to CT and partly to VT, according to the months lived in each state.

If you are now a resident of VT, and have no other CT income to report, then report it as income on your VT return. No need to file a CT return at all in that case.
