I'm filing my 2024 Trust tax return with TurboTax Business desktop. The federal portion is done, and already submitted without error. This pertains specifically to the CA state filing. I filed an extension back in April hoping TT would update. That doesn't seem to be the case. Its now October 8th and I'm running out of time.
I'm going through the part for Reviewing Your Return on the California Form 541. In the TurboTax Business review, it shows the Deduction Allocation Smart Worksheet and states "Form 541, p1&2: Line 11, column a should have value."
TT pulled in the property tax I entered in the Federal return and placed that value on Line 10a. Line 11 is blank. I'm trying to figure out what to put in line 11. Do i put a portion of the federal taxes from 10a? Leave it blank and move on? or What?
This question has been asked before but i haven't found an answer that makes sense to me.
