2021 New Jersey UI/WF/SWF individual amounts limit in TurboTax lower than State Tax site

Per https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/njit16.shtml

For 2021 the maximum employee contributions are:

  • UI/WF/SWF — $153.85;
  • DI — $649.54;
  • FLI — $386.96.

TurboTax State - New Jersey is capping the amount at:

  • UI/WF/SWF — $150.03;
  • DI — $350.74;
  • FLI — $251.62.

Since the tool limits the reported contributions to the maximum if the W2 amount is greater that the individual employee contribution limit, the tool will be reporting the wrong lower limit from last year.

Please fix limits in NJ State to the correct amount.

2021 New Jersey UI/WF/SWF individual amounts limit in TurboTax lower than State Tax site

@rfd171

The 2021 NJ tax forms are not scheduled to be ready until after 27 January, so the tax form Q&A may now still be using the 2020 values.

No one will know if they've updated to the proper 2021 values until after 27 Jan, so come back the 28th and check step thru the W-2 Q&A again.

DO NOT try to e-file yoru NJ tax return until AFTER the 27th..
