    Hello Colleen,

     

    I am also unable to e-file my NY state taxes. I was able to successfully file my Federal and Connecticut taxes. I have never had this problem before and have e-filed in NY state for multiple years.

     

    The system states that there is a unique tax situation that requires paper filing.

     

    I have not sold any property, stocks, or bonds. I live in NYC but work in Connecticut (Second year in a row). I have the most basic taxes possible besides the two state tango.

     

    The error seems to be in TurboTax software. I therefore request a refund for NY State of $40.
