Texas Franchise Tax - I cannot Efile Final State Tax Return - Error with Form 05-102 & 05-167

I am having issues completing my final Texas tax return. Once I click on submit my state return, it takes me back to one of these two forms to be completed and it says "do not file, do not print". As far as I know I do not need to complete either forms as this LLC has not registered losses or income in the past year, and it is a LLC C -Corp, but once I try to delete the forms it takes me back to the beginning and the forms appear again and it is a loop.

Please help.

Thank you.

Even though your LLC had no income, the Texas Comptroller requires most entities to file an information report (Form 05-102 for Corporations or Form 05-167 for other entities) to officially close the business account.  You will need to print and mail your final return (see instructions below) or use the state's Webfile portal to submit the information for free.

To break the loop and complete your return, you should first remove the "Final" designation within the Texas interview section to clear the error message. Once the forms are clear of errors, you can proceed to the print stage, then manually check the "Final" box on the paper form before mailing it to the state.  Alternatively, you can enter the information on the Comptroller of Texas Webfile Portal.
