Resident of NJ in 2 part of same year how to file ?

I was nj resident in tow parts

from 01/01/2019 to 06/30/2019. (1st)

10/01/2019 to 12/31/2019. (2nd)

was NC resident in between (07/01/2019-09/30/2019)

NJ form/Turbo tax only has option to report one part of residency , how to provide the correct details of both part of NJ residency 6 month in one strech then 3 month in other ?

I don't have an answer for you. As you have noted, the problem is that the New Jersey tax forms make no provision for your situation. TurboTax can't provide a way to handle a situation that the state forms don't provide for.

I suggest that you call or email the NJ Division of Taxation and ask them what you should do. Post a reply in this thread to let us know what they say.
