I have completed my Fed Tax and having trouble completing my North Carolina Tax Return .   QUESTION   :  How do I complete the D400 Schedule S.   I am a individual filing form D400 . Trying to determine how to Enter Amounts To:  D 400 Schedule S  and form D 400TC,    PLEASE HELP      Tom Peatross

    Schedule S for North Carolina lists additions and subtractions from your income. That schedule would be automatically generated from answers to questions in TurboTax. You need to review your North Carolina tax return in TurboTax and choose either Income, Credits or Taxes, or Other Situations and work through those sections to find the item you want to adjust.

    Some of those amounts also transfer to the forms automatically from the entries you made in the Federal section of your tax preparation.    So, you might have to describe what exact types of entries you think should appear on those forms, before  anyone could provide any more details on where they get entered in the software interview.
