Solved

My son lived and worked in Ohio 1/18-7/14/18. He moved to CA on 8/1/18 and has a new job. How do I remove the W-2 from the CA job from the Ohio tax form?

It's the way how Ohio calculates tax.  If your son was either a part-year resident or a nonresident of Ohio, Ohio calculates how much they tax all of his income.  Then, for the portion of income not earned in Ohio, they issue a credit against the income.  Thus, although all of his income is factored in to determine Ohio tax, his non-Ohio income is not taxed there.
