Maine state student loan repayment not calculating correctly

Hi, I'm using TurboTax online to file my taxes, which I've done the past several years. I qualify for the $2,500 Maine student loan repayment credit/reimbursement. I have filled out the designated form (degree, graduation date, state, and total amount of payments made), and I am showing a Maine state refund, but that refund does not include the $2500 repayment like it should. I have tried clearing cookies/cache but no luck. Please help?

Go back and double check:

Maine credit up to $2500 per year up to $25k lifetime limit - be sure you haven't reached your limit
Requires income minimum of $13,712 for 2025.
Look for the Student Loan Repayment Tax Credit Worksheet and the Schedule CP in your return. They need to both be there.
Verify you did not accidentally mark parent plus or non-eligible loan.
If you refinance, be sure you selected separate from other debt.

Finally, if all else fails, follow these steps:

Save your return while closing the program.
Update the program
Open
Enter the information again.

Online version:

Log out of your return and try one or more of the following:
- Don't use Internet Explorer.
- Clear cache and cookies,
- Sign in using a different browser.
- Sign in using a different device.
Log back into your return.
- Enter the information again.

Thanks so much Amy. I do qualify for the full amount and haven't gotten anywhere close to meeting the cap yet. I've tried clearing cache and cookies, so I will try looking at the forms themselves. I just want to make sure, since I'm using the online version and need to pay to see the form view, that I can amend/change the forms themselves once I get to that step? None of the amendments I can make in the step by step view resolve this issue that I can see. Thank you

The desktop version will let you connect forms more easily. If you want to switch to desktop just to be safe before paying you can. If you pay and it doesn't work, then you have to contact customer support to get the swap. You may want to switch to desktop to finish up. All your information is saved and you pick right up where you were. There is a forms mode and you can switch to it and change the forms to force them to connect. I feel like you must be missing the CP form for some reason.
