K-1 form 1065: Do I need to file multiple non-resident state returns for each of the states reported in the state schedule, even if they report a loss?
I received a K-1 form 1065 from a partnership that has equity rental properties in multiple states (close to 40). The State Schedule reports 0 income or loss for all of them. Do I still need to report the loss for each state in a separate non-resident state return? The losses amounts are limited (a few dollars) so I don't care about loss carryovers or any tax advantage this may generate.
