Question

Is anyone else having trouble filing for taxes for Washington state? After filing for my Arizona taxes, I tried to do my Washington one and it wouldn’t let me.

It says that I didn’t qualify for Washington Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) so I couldn’t file my taxes for Washington. I was always able to do them before, I’m not sure what the issue is. I already finished and turned my forms for my Arizona ones so I’m not sure if that’s what’s messing it up or what it is.

Individuals and families are eligible for the Working Families Tax Credit if they meet all of the following requirements:

Check this chart to ensure you are within the income limits.   The maximum credit amount ranges from $335 to $1,330, depending on the number of qualifying children. These amounts are then reduced based on income thresholds, similar to the federal program, EITC. The minimum credit amount is $50, regardless of the number of qualifying children.
