If you earned income while in Nebraska, and South Carolina is your resident state, you would file a South Carolina resident tax return and a Nebraska non-resident tax return. Be sure to complete your NE non-resident tax return before doing your SC resident return so that your state tax returns calculate correctly and SC gives you credit for the taxes you paid to NE.
