I worked in Alabama for most of the year. I spent a month in florida. I live in alabama. I have no property, etc in florida. I just traveled there for work. turbo tax initially said that i do not have to pay florida state tax as they do not have income tax there. When i went to start my alabama state tax filing on turbo tax, it showed that i have to file alabama and florida(but as a non resident). Do i need to do that(file florida non-resident)?

Florida has no income tax on income from work.  You do not have to file a Florida return.  Your income (including your earnings from Florida) is entirely taxable by Alabama.
