I prepaid Va. estimated tax last year using forms 760ES/CG generated by TurboTax. Should Va. have sent me some kind of form this year?

Last year I sent Virginia estimated tax payments as recommended by turbotax using Form 760ES/CG.   I did not receive any form from the state showing that I paid these funds.   Was I suppose to receive a form from Virginia showing I paid these estimated taxes?

No. Neither the IRS nor the various state taxing authorities send any report of what you have deposited as estimated tax payments. You are responsible for keeping those records as you make your quarterly deposits.

Enter the tax deposits and dates when you are completing the federal tax return in TurboTax, as they are potentially itemized deductions. These amounts will be transferred to your TurboTax state return.
