Solved

I moved from NY to VA for a new job. The Sch OSC (1): Amount of Tax, Col A-1. is asking for the amount of tax paid to another state. Where do I find this?

VA Schedule OSC is for the credit for taxes paid to another state.  Since you were a part-year Virginia resident, and spent more than 183 days in Virginia (barely), Virginia is treating you as a resident for tax purposes, which means they will give you a credit for the amount of tax you must pay to NY on the income you earned in NY.  The amount of tax you paid to NY is the amount of NY tax that was withheld from your NY income, minus any refund you received or in addition to any additional amount of tax you owed.  Make sure that you have prepared the NY return so that you can input that amount

Is this a VA form or an NY form?  And when did you move to VA?

VA is asking for the amount on the Sch OSC form but I don't have that form and don't know where to find it. I moved 7/1/17.
