I live in Texas. The first page of my federal return lists an address that does not match the 1040-V address for Texas. Which one is correct?

The address at the top of page 1 of the 1040 is the address the IRS will use to send any correspondence to if they need to communicate with you.

If you are talking about your address on the 1040-V, that address is less important - what is important is your name and Social Security number.
