Question

I live in state without state income tax, but my wife's employer input "TNNOTNEEDED" in the employer's state ID number area but I can't pick a state bc TN isn't an option

Please help. I'm completely stuck unless I delete the info in the box.

On the TurboTax W-2 leave boxes 15, 16 and 17 blank (empty) since you live in Tennessee which does not have a personal income tax.

If this does not correct the problem then delete the W-2 and re-enter manually.
