I live in and filed in GA. I wonder what my CA state tax would have been if I lived there. Is there a way to use my current return to compare?

Maybe. If you can get back into your return, you can change your state of residence to CA, and your W-2 withholdings (and other earnings) to CA, and then upload the CA state return, which is possible to do at no extra cost if you are using TurboTax online to do the return, because you do not need to register and re-file. You can state that you want to do an amended return for this purpose, and then you will be able to do it.
