Solved

I entered a W-2G in my Federal return but it didn't show up in my PA state return. It is showing that I owe $30 to the state but I can't see it visually. Just confused.

PA law imposes its income tax on PA residents on all gambling and lottery winnings from any source, except prizes from playing the Pennsylvania State Lottery. As a PA resident, you must include lottery winnings from other states and countries.

As long as the winnings are entered in the federal interview they will carry to the PA state return.  Based on your balance due the amount of tax is generated from approximately $975 dollars of income that had no state tax withholding.  The income will show up on line 8 of the PA-40.

From the 2016 PA40 instructions:

What’s New for 2016
With the passage of Act 84 of 2016, cash prize payments received
from the Pennsylvania Lottery on or after Jan. 1, 2016 are now
taxable for PA personal income tax purposes. PA personal income
tax is also required to be withheld on cash prizes paid after July 12,
2016. See Pages 17 and 18 of this booklet and the department’s
website for more information.
