How do I verify if a previous state refund is taxable if I don't have a Schedule A form?

When it asks we used standard or itemized deductions to verify if state refund is taxable, was it talking about the state return or the federal return?  My federal return used the standard deduction, but it looks like the state used the itemized.  When I used the help option, it sounded like the state refund would be taxable, but now I'm not sure.

The question about whether you used itemized deductions or the standard deduction when trying to determine if your state refund is taxable is referring to your Federal return.

Since your Federal return used the standard deduction, your state refund will not be taxable on your current year return.
