How can I receive assistance with a Check This Entry message received when doing a final review of CA state tax return?
California Information Worksheet: Direct debit yes box should not be checked. Only electronically filed returns are eligible for direct debit. My Federal and CA returns are both set up for direct debit for taxes due. When I print my CA return, the Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2025 California Tax Return clearly states that my balance due will paid by direct debit.
