Question

How can I contact Turbotax for software issues? I filed as a resident for my state taxes, but it keeps showing up as "nonresident" in "Type of return". I've deleted and

tried to redo it but the "Type of return" just shows up as Nonresident, even though when I go into it, it shows that I selected "resident"

You need to go back to the federal return to the "Personal Info" section.  Go through the address and the information about which states that you earned income in.  Make sure that all of the information that you have entered points to your one home state and that you haven't entered information that tells the system something different.  

 

You may also have to double check the W2s that you have entered to make sure that the state information at the bottom is correct.
