I live and work in CA. My wife I have been separated with for many years lives and works in AZ. Can we file federal jointly and separate states? She files AZ, I file CA?
Based on my researches, CA would allow since we are separated and would give an exemption form community status . But I cant find information if AZ would allow it? Also, how would we file state, MFS?
