Per the email it says my state return was rejected due to:

What happened

CA_CharitableContributions_Hold - Your tax return was rejected due to an issue with California Charitable Contributions

I went back through my state return and it all looked fine to me. I’m guessing there is some glitch in the system because it says to come back the 17th or after and go through your state return and fix any prompts. Anyone else having this same issue?

When will this be fixed? It's a turbo tax error putting the contribution on the wrong line item. Spent 3 hours on the phone with them and was rejected 4 times!

TURBO TAX - WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS INSANITY? Per the state Franchise Tax Board this is a turbo tax error. CA state return rejected due to charitable contributions!

I called today. Same error message. I’m in CA and they said they know that CA needs a form that they don’t have yet. And that’s why it’s being rejected. They said the form isn’t available yet. And they don’t know when. That it would be available after the 17th. The reason I find it strange is because my friends was rejected but mine was not. Our returns are very similar. 🤷🏾‍♀️

At this point Turbo Tax should offer refunds on the state returns to customers who have encountered this error.
