Why is there NOT a section where we can put our actual self employment income anymore? If we are self employed we do not receive a 1099 . We have invoices of our own!

there used to be a section dedicated to Self employment income from invoice etc. Where is it?

You can use the Other or General self-employment income entry.   See the cash/checks option in the link below.

How do I report income from self-employment?

This is in fact what I was forced to do [insert my main invoices in Other income] but then at the end it shows the Self employment income section empty and with the "review" button active and when I proceed, a window comes up telling that I am not a self-employed photographer this year. This is going to be very delicate for IRS!!! your can see:
1. IMAGE 1-----> there is no section to insert invoices we write out as freelance photographers except for 1099 or other income [which is not other but it is our MAIN income]
2. IMAGE 2 ------> even when inserted in other income, it does not add up to Self-employed and still shows as "to REVIEW"

3. IMAGE 3 ------> if I proceed anyways, it tells me I do not have a self-employed activity anymore! But when I click on review, the section is missing and it goes directly into expenses

You need to select the radio button in the first image "other self-employed income" (from your first screenshot).  This will allow you to enter the total of your income received from your invoices.

You will also need to remove it from the general "other income" section.

If this is what you've done (entered in other self-employed income), let us know so we can provide you steps to give us a token which allows us to better guide you through the process.

YES! I did enter it in other self-employed income but then if I proceed, the window comes up telling me I'm not self-employed anymore.
I tried to re-insert a new Self-employed photographer business section at the beginning [as if I had a new business]  in order to erase the other in case there was a system error, but I get the same main window with no possibilities to enter self-employed income in the section as a Freelance photographer [the one with the Review highlighted]

This is what I get again [see screeshot] with no possibilities to insert under self-employment main income.
It should not be OTHER SELF-EMPLOYMENT because it is not. It is the main self employment income and the system sees it as a missing section giving then an error at the end as  "no active business" previous screenshot #3

I've been testing by pretending to open a new business line with identical info from the previous Self-employed income. When I insert my information in the Other-self employed section, it does [YES}  keep it and shows in totals -  so it must be a system error because when I go through the same process with the previous "business self employed] it does not show the info in totals window. I'm just afraid to cause problems by switching everything to the new section since it's probably not keeping all the info from previous years . How should I proceed?
IMAGE screenshot with the second section with an amount for reference. First section does not show even though I inserted all my invoices the same way.

1) The term "Other self-employment income" refers to income you received that was not reported on Form 1099-NEC or 1099-K. Enter any income paid by cash, check or credit card under this income topic.

2) The "needs review" tag can appear when nothing needs to be changed. This experience has been reported for further investigation. You can ignore this tag if you have completed your entries.

When you run Final Review, Smart Check will alert you of any areas that need your attention.

3) There's no need to begin a new business. In fact, continuing the self-employment business from last year is important for including information that flows from year to year.

To remove the new business, click the trashcan icon to the right of the line of work you entered this year.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Yes I did erase the "new business" I used only to test the issue.

Unfortunately, when I proceed, I am being shown this message as if I AM NOT A SELF-EMPLOYED PHOTOGRAPHER ANY LONGER - that would put me in "red flag" with IRS because that is NOT the case:

At this point I might just need to redo the entire tax in Turbotax desktop in order to reset with 2024. The program online does not let me proceed as a Self-employed photographer. It is NOT keeping track of  the income as it shows as ZERO and even the counter that shows "tax due" on the top left, remains ZERO, while when I created that "fake new business" and I inserted a small amount, it was already counting "tax due".
2024 as a Freelance photographer shows as ZERO while the "fake business" I inserted to test the program was showing an amount when in this window:
