Was my 1099-NEC form filed with my W-2s when I filled it out for my tax return? How will I know if i owe the IRS money?

When filing my W-2s for my tax return, I also included my 1099-NEC under wages and income. I was wondering if it effected my tax return, or if I will be informed by the IRS if I owe money to them.

If you owe money to the IRS it is shown on line 37 of your 2025 Form 1040, and you should already be aware of owing tax due.   What is shown on your Form 1040?   Do you see a refund on line 35a or do you see tax due on line 37?
