If you are using a personal TurboTax product as apposed to the TurboTax Business software (that you download on your computer) then you are by default filing as a sole-proprietor. That is the only business schedule you can file in a personal TurboTax product, and the inverse goes for the Business TurboTax, you can't file as a sole-proprietor using that.
You can be a single member LLC and file as a sole proprietor, but only in a personal TurboTax program. It may be that you entered your business name as an LLC, and that is fine but you still need to file as a sole-proprietor if you are the only owner of the business. Otherwise, if you have more than one owner you need to use the TurboTax Business program to file as a partnership or corporation.
The reply did not answer my question but I found where the type of business is indicated on my CA state taxes. I did not indicate what type of business, TurboTax did. I found it and corrected it.
