I am having trouble with my 1099 MISC form. It thinks that is self income but this is a tribal per capita check I receive from my tribe quarterly.

Native American Tribal Distributions are entered in the Wages and Income section:

1. Select Other Common Income 
2. Select Form 1099-MISC  
3. Enter the information from your form
4. On the Describe the reason for this 1099-MISC screen enter  NATIVE AMERICAN DISTRIB  
5.  If this is a distribution from gaming proceeds check that box, if not, check None of these apply.
