Depends. Did you get a 1099NEC or 1099Misc for something? That is usually for self employment income. You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

To go back to a lower version or the Free Edition you can try to clear and start over https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-clear-and-start-over-in-turbotax-onli...

VolvoGirl is quite right that you will need the Self-Employed version if you have contract or self-employed income on a Form 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC.
If you are unsure, click this link to compare the different versions of TurboTax and see their capabilities.
If you do decide to change, we cannot downgrade the version with your return intact, but you can clear the return and you will have an opportunity, right at the beginning to select which version is best for you. Select Tax Tools on the left menu and then Clear and Start Over.
