During online turbo tax preparation, how to get help with more specific questions e.g. NY taxes. Sometimes the person contacted can't answer specific questions.

If you're using TurboTax Live, you would be able to talk with a Credentialed Tax Expert to get help with your specific question.  You would be able to see them on the video (one way video of course, where you can see the expert, but the expert can not see you). You would also be able to use the screen share feature because that greatly helps the expert to understand your situation and the exact issue quickly and more efficiently.  If you get someone in Product Support or Tax Support team, and they are not able to help you with your specific tax advice related question, you may request them to transfer you to a Tax Advice Expert.
