Can't enter self-employed income for 2025 from an existing 2024 entry. When you choose "Looks Good" it takes you to the "Time to add expenses" screen.

I have a 2024 entry for self-employed income. When I "Edit" that entry it takes me to a screen where I choose "Looks Good" and it then skips to a screen that says "Time to add expenses". It doesn't let me actually add income to that entry. I have tried clearing cookies, cache, incognito browser, different computers, and different browsers. If I do a NEW entry I can enter income, but I want it linked to my 2024 entry.

Are you able to enter the current year amount in the prior year income category? Have you completed other Schedule C entries so that you return to your Business Summary page? Income is typically listed under the Expenses section on the summary page. You should be able to edit income that is already entered or add other income.

This worked! Thanks so much.

It is really unintuitive that you have to go to Expenses to input Income. When you go to income you should be able to put in income.

The question is... will I remember this next year.
