If I am self-employed and working from home, can I claim landscaping as a business expense?
The major lawn repair landscaping was done to repair the landscaping that had deteriorated over the years. It was NOT to add additional value to the house but rather to RESTORE value to the property after the weeds had taken over the property over about 10 years. No additional features or elements were added. The work was done to make the landscaping look like what it had originally looked like, when the house was built and completed 10 years ago.
