Alimony Paid section not accepting SSN leading with a 0

Some TurboTax Desktop customers are experiencing an issue when visiting the Alimony Paid section and entering an ex-spouse who has a social security number that starts with a 0. They’re seeing the leading 0 being removed, causing the remaining numbers to be shifted left, which shows the SSN as invalid.

Don’t worry! We’re currently working to resolve this issue. If you’d like to receive progress status updates, please sign up here.
