You can add Mint widgets to your iOS mobile device to quickly track your finances without opening the Mint app.

Follow these steps to add a widget:

Touch and hold an empty area on your home screen

Tap the plus sign (+) in the top left corner

Search or scroll to find and select Mint

Choose the widget you want and tap +Add Widget

Drag to place it, then select Done

Mint offers two different widgets: transactions and budgets. If an item is in gray on the transactions widget, it means the transaction is pending. For your security, these widgets will never show up on your lock screen.

What if I don't see the option to add the budgets widget?

Close all apps on your device

Restart your device

Check that you've downloaded the latest version of the Mint app from the App Store

Retry the instructions above
