No 1099 received

My wife received payment for consulting work from an organization that closed down so we did not receive the 1099. Where do I enter the income?

Your wife's income should be reported as self employment income not on a 1099MISC.

To report that income:

Log in to your account.
Go to Federal Taxes.
Go to Wages and Income.
Go to Self employment Income and answer the questions related to that income.
On the screen "Let's enter the income for your Consulting work" select Other self-employed income (since you didn't receive a 1099 form).
Enter the income on the following screen.
