This is a follow up to https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/self-employed-group/discussion/uber-drivers-deduction-of-uber-fees-and-adjustments/00/2944501, kindly answered by @TeresaM

Next, I am trying to figure out if DD and GH are set up the same way and whether I am leaving deductions on the table so to speak, but I can't seem to find the answer. Looking at the high level amounts I see on my 1099-NECs for both DD and GH, it looks like they might be, but pure guesses so far.

I've spent time looking for this, to no avail, so tapping into the collective knowledge here.

[for context, see item #4 here: https://blog.stridehealth.com/post/delivery-driver-deductions]

No. You are not leaving any deductions on the table. Doubling is not allowed.

Expenses that qualify for this deduction are those the IRS considers "ordinary and necessary" for this line of work, like supplies, communications, and mileage. If you are self-employed and have health insurance, your pay out-of-pocket cost, would be deductible. If you have road-assistance and used it, a percentage would be deductible.

For your mileage, you can use a percentage of the actual expense or the standard mileage method. Using the actual expenses for your vehicle, a percentage of the gas, maintenance, license and registration, car insurance and car/payments can be deducted. Using the standard mileage method, the actual miles used for work would be multiplied by 65.5 cents/miles. You will have to figure how many business mile versus personal mile used. The miles entered for Uber should not be included again.

To deduction your phone deduction, you figure out the percentage of business use and personal use. Multiple the percentage of business use by the cost of your phone bill. If you entered a deduction for your phone in the Uber deduction, do not include it in Door Dash or Grub Hub.

Your business deductions will only be entered once. Do not deduct the expenses from both Door Dash and Grub Hub. Since Door Dash and Grub Hub have the same business code. To enter two or more 1099-NEC for the same line of work, follow the step below:

Open TurboTax.

Wages & Income > Self-employment income and expenses > Edit/Add.

Add another line of work

Enter "Delivery Service."

Select "Food delivery driving."

Select "It's a side job."

Continue.

On screen, "Let's enter the income…", select Form 1099-NEC.

Enter first 1099-NEC.

On the screen, "Did you have any more…", Select "Yes."

Select "Form 1099-NEC."

Enter another "Form 1099-NEC."

Continue.

Select your expenses from the 9 categories.

Expenses > Start.
