You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.

appreciate the response but i buy cd version, not online, and don't see an upgrade offered as an option

Oh for the Desktop program you can use any version, even Deluxe. All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

thanks! i'm retired and the amount of the 1099 is not enough to justify home and business. i'll stick with premiere.
