    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, first time this year I m doing self employed taxes and confused a lot, I made 2738 $ remotely from a website as a freelancer and it is the only money I made for the year, when I start file TurboTax self employment, it shows me around 200$ I owe federal, but when I do my GA state taxes it shows 0 $ is that possible or I m making a mistake?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also website company that paid me located in California, do I have to file CA state taxes too?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Georgia has a standard deduction that reduces your taxable income to $0. There is a requirement to file a tax return with Georgia as long as you are required to file a Federal income tax return.
