When is the deadline to submit a W9 for 2022 to the requester?

Do I have until December 31 to submit this form? They only report my income once a year.

They will need the W-9 so that they can issue a tax document to you for your 2022 tax return, but they will also need it in order to PAY you----so why wait---do you want to be paid?
