    <description>&lt;P&gt;Unfortunatly no I just answered like I owned a business even though that is not really the case Im more a contractor for another business its a confusing situation so I just ended up losing most of my refund :(&lt;/img&gt; I hope it works better for you. For mine they just had me fill out a form c after the NEC&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received a 1099-nec from a company I work for I do not own my own business. The company I work for is paid by another company to pay me. The 1099-nec is fine but after that step, they are asking me to fill out a schedule c like I own the business but this is not the case. Im not sure what to do or who to contact.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello there, by chance did you get the answer to your question in regards to 1099-NEC?&amp;nbsp; I am having issues as well.&amp;nbsp; I entered the information from the 1099-NEC on my federal.&amp;nbsp; In return my NJ statae is saying I own a buisness and need to fill out NJ-BUS-1 form&amp;nbsp; for profit /loss.&amp;nbsp; I don not own a buisness.&amp;nbsp; I can not get it removed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
