    <description>&lt;P&gt;The odd thing is that the 2024 software was properly working on my laptop at some point. Something has gone wrong. When I now try to launch the software an error message (no code #) pops up and it gives me the option to send feedback to Intuit, which I have, or to cancel and continue. Once I hit cancel, the software just terminates.&amp;nbsp; I have uninstalled and reinstalled (3 times now) TurboTax 2024 directly from my Intuit account. Yet, this does not solve the problem.&amp;nbsp;My laptop which is running Windows 11 (always up to date with software, etc.). I have tried to "run as administrator" which does not solve the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I called Intuit and they were not helpful at all. Please help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS - Other versions (2022 and 2023) of TurboTax launch properly on my laptop.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This worked for other users:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I closed it and just started safe mode with networking and launched TT.&amp;nbsp; It started up and activated.&amp;nbsp; I then restarted my computer and it started right up.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Advice from another user:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;RIGHT click on the TT download and then LEFT click on PROPERTIES.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 8 - On the GENERAL tab look at the bottom and you may see...............................&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 9 - Security:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This FILE CAME FROM ANOTHER COMPUTER and MIGHT be BLOCKED&amp;nbsp;to HELP PROTECT This COMPUTER.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 10 - RIGHT click the BOX next to Unblock text and watch it disappear.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 11 - Click the Close (X) in the upper right-hand corner.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 12 - DOUBLE RIGHT click the TT download exe and watch it work.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 13 - Click YES to Allow program to make changes.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 14 - If the TT install shield says MS visual C++ is needed the Click INSTALL button&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 15 - Watch as program is installed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 16 - Get the Intuit TT License agreement Window and click to accept. Press Next.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Step 17 - You got it from here. Install as you see fit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Solution:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Go to Control Panel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Go to Programs&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) Go to Programs and Features&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) Click on Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.42.34433&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5) Click on "Change" just above&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6) Click on "repair"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;7) Restart PC&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":smiling_face_with_sunglasses:"&gt;😎&lt;/span&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Launch TT 2024&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps others&lt;/P&gt;</description>
