Hi. Interesting question, I am a self employed private tutor, my wife gets a W2 and We file jointly. I was on the need of a phone (mine was crashing often) which is a very important tool on my business. The thing is my wife bought me a phone as a father's day present so the invoice of the phone I use daily is on my wife's name, can I still do the write off with that invoice?
