error in smart check that does not make sense

Self-employed- started using vehicle for business starting 9/19/2022 (and used throughout remainder of 2022).

'Smart check' flags following error: 'Business miles should be blank. This vehicle was placed in service after 06/30/2022' - with no context or explanation. Are we making an error or is the software glitching?

Yes, user entry is causing the error.

On the screen below enter the total miles driven = Miles driven between 01/01/2022 and 06/30/2022 + Miles driven between 07/01/2022 and 12/21/2022.

If there were no miles driven 01/01/2022 and 06/30/2022 enter 0 (Zero).
