SSI stimulus deposits

My bf recieves SSI and he suppose to recieve his third stimulus he recieved the other 2 stimulus payments in a check this time when i logged in his information on the IRS it gave us an account number that we dont recognize and he never filed taxes so what should I do

The IRS says:

If you did not file a tax return and you receive SSA, RRB, SSI or VA benefits and your benefits are currently deposited to a Direct Express card, then your 2021 Economic Impact Payment will be deposited to that card. The bank information shown in Get My Payment will be a number associated with your Direct Express card and may be a number you don’t recognize.

He never recieved a direct express card and when i called direct express yesterday a Rep told me that didnt have anything in their system under the name or social security number

Then how does he receive the benefits?

He recieves it through a check just like he recieved the last 2 stimulus so im not sure why they have an account up there when he never filed taxes or anything
