Stimulus check

I input my DD info in the irs Get My Payment link before my stimulus was processed and it said my check will be direct deposited in my turbotax account. I went back on the link to see if i had a date and it said my check was being mailed. I dnt understand because my account is still active with my turbo card. My mailing date is expected tomorrow 24th

here is probably what occurred:

while the website asked for updates to direct deposit, the IRS has to set a "Cut off" so they can print checks and not sent out money through both methods. It doesn't appear than when they create that cutoff, they lock the website so no further changes are permitted. It's what happens when they are tasked with creating a website in two weeks!

so unbeknownst to you, you got caught in the "cutoff", but at least you know when you are getting your money!
