Dependent Stimulus Deposit

So my mom claimed me as her dependent in her 2018 taxes, this year I filed independent and she has yet to file but she isn’t going to claim me in her 2019 taxes. Will I still get the stimulus? Or does she have to file her taxes first?

I also just filed 2 weeks ago and my state refunds came, but I’m still waiting on my federal refund. Could this be why I haven’t got my deposit yet?

If she does not qualify to claim you on her taxes this year, and you have already filed yours ( and mark someone cannot claim you), you will just need to wait. the IRS is trying to process both the refund and the stimulus as fast as they can.

You can use the Get My Payment application to update your bank account or mailing address.
