Amended dependent recieved stimulus?(still need final answer)

So I rushed to get my taxes done. I missed a w2, I fixed it and also added my girlfriend as a dependent. She doesn't work in paid for all her expenses. But I havnt sent in the amendment yet and she recieved a stimulus check. What happens?

Might I add, she was not claimed on the previous year's taxes and she has yet to file her taxes for this year.

A spouse can never be a dependent of the other spouse. You can file jointly, but you can never claim your own spouse as a dependent. You can also file separately, if you like.

You will want to adjust your amended return to either file jointly or separately. This will not affect her stimulus, as she has already received it.

Sorry I didn't mean spouse. She's my girlfriend I used the wrong term

Would it still not affect the stimulus either way?
