If you do not have our direct deposit information how do we get that to the irs for our stimulus check to go straight deposit.

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

If you have not filed a return, or need to file a simple return to qualify for the Stimulus money, TurboTax setup where you can file a simple return for the stimulus money (if you are on Social Security or Disability, you do not have to file anything to get the stimulus money). I am 82. We are trying to get our stimulus check. I filed a return on turbo tax yesterday.im not sure it was for my stimulus but I filed. Said we were getting 0 back.. we dont make enough to file. What di we file to get a stimulus and how do we gove our direct deposit info

@Nannerwalter If you are on Social Security or Disability you don't have to file anything to get your stimulus money. The Treasury said social security recipients, who do not usually have to file a tax return to the IRS, will receive their economic impact payments directly and automatically into their accounts.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said social security recipients will get their stimulus payments "very quickly" after the first IRS deposits are made in mid-April.
