Agreed! I've been splitting my transactions for a while, and would really love to be able to set a rule for either certain categories or merchants to be able to automatically split out the sales tax at whatever tax rate I input!

I would really like to see a feature that allows for a rule to be created for automatically splitting certain transactions or all transactions linked to an account. As it stands, I’ve been using Mint for years and any transactions on a shared account I have to go split manually, and pick “Hide from Budgets and Trends” for the portion I don’t want counted in my budget. I know many people are asking for a link up between Mint and Splitwise, but it would maybe be more useful to just make the rule building feature a bit more broad so that it can be applied to splitting and hiding transactions? Or maybe there’s a simpler way I’m overlooking?
